Breakfast Balls

Something must be in the water this week because there were BUCKETS of great content from the pros. Starting with this gem from (of all places) the European Tour—which kicked off its season in Abu Dhabi this past weekend.

Question 1 - Is the man pictured here, NFL legend, Larry Fitzgerald? Yes.

 Question 2 - Is the green designed to look like the continent of Africa? Yes.

 Question 3 - Is a helicopter the only way to reach this tee box? Yes. 

Sure, watching Bama crush yet another National Championship—and realizing that you may in fact be playing checkers while Nick Saban is running a Queen's Gambit on everyone else—is not exactly a fun way to spend a week.

2020. What a worm-burner of a year. But like all good golfers, you've got to have a short memory so we're back with our conductor hat on from when we really got into trains in the 2nd grade, a frosted mug of adult beverage in hand, running down everything we're most hyped for in 2021!

Squaring off this weekend in Orlando, major champions and a family member play in a scramble format to determine whose golfing genes reign supreme... or win money for charity or something.

Other highlights include golf carts that can rip it up to 35mph, caddies on scooters (to keep up with the golfers Tokyo drifting their way around the course in carts THAT GO UP TO 35 MPH!!) and of course...

Admittedly, we're still digesting both our turkey day leftovers and the realization that Charles Barkley is a serviceable golfer. But nothing a fistful of Tums can't handle, right?

It's good to be back!

Talk about dunkin' on em in Augusta—DJ topped both Spieth and the GOAT by two strokes for the all-time scoring record at -20.

 While it may be spooky season, we admit that it takes a lot to scare us over here at Bad Birdie. We approach the season like we approach short par 4's—Irrational. Confidence.

My golfing dry spell is over and mentally, it feels great to be back at it.

Physically—not so much.
