"The best golf experience I’ve ever been apart of!" - Theodore from Boston describing the Random Golf Club's Mad Scramble Tour.
The Mad Scramble Tour is entering its final leg of the year as they come out to the west coast, best coast for an epic run that spans everywhere from Fossil Trace in Denver... a course that apparently has actual fossils in the boulders scattered around the track... to Chambers Bay in Seattle to Goat Hill in my backyard to TPC Scottsdale in Bad Birdie's hometown.

Is Peyton Manning the next Ashton Kutcher?
THE PGA TOUR ENTERS THEIR PRANK ERA

This week, the PGA Tour released the first of a... two episode series (that's what I like to call a "test and learn" approach) on YouTube called Alter Ego.
The series was created in partnership with Omaha Productions, aka Peyton Manning's production company, and sponsored by ShipSticks which sneak in there at the very end. It features Wyndham Clark and Max Homa dressing up and going undercover to surprise golfers.
Episode one is Wyndham's where he's disguised as Coach Rex Tanner with some unconventional teaching methods. A couple of chuckles outta me I'll admit and the series rides the football wave of Eli Manning and Jared Goff going undercover QB.
Where this release sparked my interest was the weirdly specific quote that PGA Tour chief marketing officer Andy Weitz shared around how they plan to launch the series. He said "'Alter Ego' and other content like it will be targeted at fans of "Will Ferrell," "Druski," "YouTube golf," "simulator golf," and "gaming."
Like, why call out your search terms? And why those specific terms?
In a surprise to no one...
LEBRON'S GRAND PLAN: YOUTUBE

Well, well, well... speaking of YouTube.
Is it any wonder that people think the entire world is just one giant twisted web of conspiracies? When you've got media moguls like Lebron crafting multiple months of social media content to pave the way for a YouTube launch. It only makes sense to question literally everything as a double motive.
Quickly pivoting out of my "show me the aliens" lane, I'll say that it's a pretty killer play by Bron. He now has an avenue to play as much golf as he wants, make it a business expense, and just rattle off a who's who of celebrities and athletes for a neverending well of content. And a neverending well of money to go play literally wherever and whenever he pleases.
I still don't quite understand how someone can sit down and watch 80% of the 2016 Cavaliers top the ball around Scotland for an hour and a half—but hey, I'm quickly learning that I've aged out of a lot of things. So don't listen to me.
Real or AI... don't care, I'm intrigued
PINK SAND COMING TO AUGUSTA?

Caught a viral video from Korea during my scrolls this week that seems to show pink sand bunkers.
Look, I've Googled for literally a dozen minutes and still can't determine if this is real. I lean no. Google's AI definitely says no. But... I'm saying there's a chance.
It's gimmicky alright and I guarantee I would get over this in about 2 minutes, but the idea of colored sand is fun to me. And it looks pretty good alongside the green of the turf. So good in fact, that I realized it's just the Masters color palette and that's why subconsciously I was so attracted to it.
The alternative is just yes, and-ing the comments from the video and this is all just a glimpse of what a round of golf on heavy psychadelics would be like—and I don't hate that either.
Golf, ice cream, and beer? 'Nuff said.
