"He asked me why on Earth I would do this. He told me it was the craziest, coolest, weirdest thing a fan's ever done for him in his entire career.” - A Jason Day fan at the Bank of Utah Championship who did 20 pushups for every stroke Day hit.

 HAUNTED HOUSE FOR GOLFERS
Happy Halloween to all!

Love a Friday Halloween. Sure, it's nice to be worry-free and roll right into the weekend. But also, a sneaky great part of the Friday Halloween is that there is no confusion as to what weekend it should be celebrated. Wednesday Halloween? What are we even doing anymore?

Been gatekeeping this one from you all until today but absolute top-notch content from James and Hally Leadbetter. The concept was a haunted house for golfers (click through to see the full video).

They went for cart path only, the wife furiously checking in when you shared the completely wrong estimate for 18 holes, and the random fourth who joins your tee time late.

But I had to toss in a few to create my own Haunted House for Golfers:

1) No Cart Service Today
Nothing gets me more down than finding out that I will be solely responsible for my own food and beverage needs.

2) Paired with a "Rules Guy"
I'm all for keeping it above the line for official tournaments. But the guy that suggests I hit a provisional and/or re-tee after I bomb slice another one OB on hole 14 isn't really catching my vibe. Just let me take a lateral and let's move on.

3) Want to Play Through?
Kill me now.

The Real World/Road Rules Challenge of Golf

THE INTERNET INVITATIONAL IS NOW LIVE
Beginning this week was Barstool's Internet Invitational—a six-part, made for YouTube event featuring 48 golfers competing for over $1 million. (Episode One linked here.)

The episodes will roll out over the next two weeks across both Fore Play and Bob Does Sports' channels. It's giving Real World/Road Rules Challenge—and I love it!

The early buzz has been an all-out internet assault of Luke Kwon after he slept through his tee time for said event. Not worth digging into the Kwon bashing here so Google it if you care...

But the basic format for the first two episodes was two captains were elected (Riggs and Bob from Bob Does Sports). They drafted their Ryder Cup teams and then competed in a 9 hole scramble and a 9 hole alternate shot. The losing team would be eliminated completely.

I'll save any spoilers for the first two episodes but curious how this all goes over because the logistics for pulling an event like this off on production side are mind-boggling. Crazy to think that two YouTube channels are more or less pulling off a Tour-level sporting event production.

And notably in the field on Team Riggs... our guy, Micah Morris!

Did someone say Micah Morris??

 UNSUBSCRIBE HAS DROPPED
New this week is Unsubscribe, a brand new collection we created in partnership with our own Micah Morris.

Unsubscribe is about the kind of golfers that would rather be off the grid than online and (if I do say so myself) it's got some absolute fire.

The Expedition Club tee is coming to a closet near me any day now. Wildlife on the course? Great taste Micah.
