THE 848 MILE LONG GOLF COURSE
The Aussies are at it again with this mind-blowing idea for a golf course. Spanning 848 miles of Australian outback, the idea behind Nullarbor Links is that each town's club "hosts" one hole and over the course of several days, players travel from town to town, playing one hole in each location.
The whole thing was designed as a way to encourage tourists to come check out the region and I gotta say, it's low key working!
A Pebble Beach Pro-Am like no other.

Yes, unfortunately, this weekend's Pebble Beach Pro-Am will be light on, well, everything.
With Dustin Johnson withdrawing due to "jetlag", no celebrities in the playing field, no fans in attendance and plenty of rain and clouds in the forecast... one of my personal favorite tourneys of the West Coast swing won't have quite the zip of years past.
So here's some fun facts about the iconic 7th hole to add a little spice to the mix.
Typically playing 106 yards (and only 92 yards at the 2010 US Open!), it's the first hole all of us draw up on the simulator bay—thinking that by sticking a suspiciously windless little chip shot it'll make us "just as good as them".
- Sam Snead made par after teeing off with his putter to avoid dealing with the wind.
- This dude named Eddie Merrins aced it with a 3 iron!
- They wanted to get rid of the hole after the first year Pebble Beach opened.
- I have Google Maps stalked the coastline, trying to plot out how I could Ocean's Eleven's this baby. However, with a set of rappelling equipment, that dream may finally become a reality.
