The bad birdie shorts under the skirt are the perfect length and size for women with curvier bodies. I have found other shorts dig into my thighs or have weird gapping around the waist. For reference, I enjoy the "curvy" denim at Madewell to accommodate a pear-shaped body type. I am a curvy size 28, and ordered a size Large skort.

Love this skirt! It’s so comfy. With bigger thighs I find lots of skorts too tight on the thighs + too loose on the waist but these shorts are perfect, supportive while not restricting. Definitely a better fit than lululemon for my body type.
