"I get up there, super nervous, and I'll never forget just swinging the golf club and not being able to feel my hands." - Bryson talking about when he was 11 years old and striped three drives in front of a giant group of pros at a local golf tournament... or the first shot I hit at a nice country club's green grass range. Will this be a pure strike or will it be a chunky short one that will have me questioning everything about my golf swing for the next three weeks?
If true, it's the most Augusta move ever.
THE END OF THE GNOME??
Golf Digest reported that there is a "95 percent plus" chance this will be last year for the iconic Augusta gnome. Pictured above is the 2026 version with real working umbrella and this marks the tenth year they've been offered on grounds.
Lines begin to form at 4am to get hands on these little guys and entire collections are reselling on eBay for $20k.
And if you are to believe Golf Digest's merchandising source for the Masters, that is the exact reason they are likely discontinuing the offering. Because, as the best hospitality experience in golf and dare I say any industry, the image of people lining up like they're about to get a washer-dryer combo for 75% off at Lowe's on Black Friday is not the image they'd like to portray.
All this to say, it's a devastating blow to my bank account because I've always figured that I'd own one of these some day—ideally purchased by myself when I finally win this @#*^$& lottery. But also I had this penciled in as a retirement gift to myself when the day arrived. Imagine the prices now when these things disappear completely from the gift shops. Augusta gnome, beachfront home, college tuition and I'll let you decide if that's in order of priority or not.
LIV walked so Grant Horvat could run.
THE COOL KIDS TOUR HAS ARRIVED
Massive news this week for the YouTube golf fanatics as Grant Horvat and the Bryan Bros announced the creation of a new made-for-YouTube Tour called Your Golf Tour.
Now, for those who aren't YouTube golf fanatics, I'll share that the announcement was actually just announcing another announcement. All we got was that 16 people will be involved, competing in four events somewhere in the world, and the championship will take place at The Wynn for $1,000,000. Actual details for said Tour are still to come.
This was more of a "we were getting itchy and want to say something to fill our content calendars and we took this moody portrait of ourselves looking serious to celebrate" type post.
If I were to guess, this was a back burner idea for years that came to the forefront again when the Creator Classic did so well. The cool kids all got together and said that they didn't want to play with the higher handicaps anymore and decided to cut the guest list and lock in some big pocketed sponsors.
I recognize I am in an increasing minority here with golf fans of a certain age still avoiding the YouTube golf scene by and large. But imma let this one play out for a bit before I decide to get pumped or not. And for those in the majority, maybe these are open to the public events and you can follow 'em around for a while and vibe out.

MANISTEE, MICHIGAN—THE NEXT BANDON
Click bait alert! Got ya.
No, Manistee, Michigan is not the next Bandon. In fact, the entire story here is actually the par 3 course seen above that was posted by a Reddit user u/maxwellrolls two years ago and picked up by some golf media this week.
The hook was he did it for only $250k and here is what the plot looked like beforehand.

I am insanely impressed that anyone could make a golf course that beautiful from the plot of land above. It's basically a cross between the abandoned junk yard area used by the killers in Making A Murderer and the kind of pictures I get from Facebook Marketplace as I scour for deals on balance bikes, outdoor kid's picnic tables, and vintage Coleman coolers.
I've always said that I wish I had another life to pursue a more manual labor type job like farming or construction—and driving a bulldozer around to create a golf course would definitely fall in that category. You clock in, you clock out, you hit the local bar for a beer and whatever sports game is on, and you're the kind of tired at the end of the day that you can be proud of because you did real work. Not the kind of tired I get where my ankles are swollen from being at my standing desk too long, or the soreness that comes with trying to carry a folded up stroller in one arm, a car seat base in the other while balancing an empty coffee mug.
It's my most, favorite-est collection—of the year.
AMATEURSLAND HAS LANDED!
The Amateurs collection is 10:1 the limited release I most pester the team about for months prior to launch. What's it looking like? Can I see the artwork? What collabs are we cookin' up?
This year's may have taken the title for my favorite collection yet and a massive reason for that is the collab with Seamus Golf on these absolutely fire accessories.
Seamus—long time admirer, first time collaborator. Respect.
The corduroy takes me back to 4th grade Scott, who refuses to wear denim because it "felt itchy". I rocked sweat pants almost every day of school until my buddy Bryan and Scott called me out and by the next week, I had not taken to jeans, but instead added about 4 pairs of corduroy pants to the weekly rotation and never looked back.
Here, however, the cords hit.
