Performance Short - Black

My 13 year old daughter plays golf as her main sport. She wears these shorts 4+ times a week from May- September. They have deep back pockets for scorecards, deep front pockets, tee holders, and even a loop for your glove. They can handle hot Nebraska summers with fabric that keeps cool, even on hot and humid days. They are easy to wash and look brand new, even after a summer of wear. She owns 2 pairs of Black and 2 Navy and would buy more colors if available. The length and fit is perfect, and these shorts are much easier than a skirt since the pockets are so good.

I am in the minority but I do not like these shorts at all. I am tall but these shorts are VERY short…uncomfortably so. The inseam does not measure 4” and they are so high waisted that by the time you put them as high up on your waist as they are meant to go, that makes them even shorter. I have a wardrobe full of Bad Birdie and I find my skirts and polos to run small but the waist in these shorts seems even smaller than other items. My husband bought these as a gift in July and I put them away knowing I would never wear them on a golf course, tennis court or anywhere in public. I thought I’d wear them around the house. But I took them out today and I don’t want to wear them even around the house bc I’m realizing the fit is so weird they are uncomfortable. Sadly, money down the drain on this one.
